Dan McFarland

Dan has joined Monivea in a player/coach role. After studying at Newcastle University, Dan worked as “a special needs assistant in a tough inner-city school in Leeds” and played rugby with Morley and then Richmond - “we had just played Leicester in the quarter-final of the Tetley Cup live on Sky, on top of the world” when they were told that the bank overdraft had led to the club going into administration.  So he went to Stade Français in Paris from 1999-2000 and since then has been with Connacht in Galway.
